Not as universal.
I did like this product but it did not fit my tv. It came with a bunch of different size screws for different TVs but none of them were a match. I have like a 5 yr old 40” vizio. Luckily a friend of mine who installs TVs had an extra set of screws that did fit. It’s a very simple tv mount. Good for the price, most mounts are really expensive.

Using it on a 48" tv. The spacing between the mounting holes is weird as it allows very little to no adjustment when bolting onto wall studs 16" apart - you must get this right the first time or else it will not work. The two screws at the bottom of the two brackets that you install on the back of the TV are at an odd angle making it very hard to secure to the mount. You'll need a long screwdriver to get into the limited space between the back of the TV and the wall - very difficult to do so. Some mounts have a spring loaded and easy to secure bracket - this ain't that. Access to be able to adjust the tilt is essentially not feasible as it'll require you reaching behind the TV and mount so you can use both hands to tighten a the screws and nuts which adjusts the tension. Once the TV is ... Using it on a 48" tv. Excellent flat screen TV wall mount for the price. It fits a variety of different models and TV sizes. Only difficulty I had when installing was it comes with two different size screws that go into back of TV. The screws provided with mounting hardware were not the right size for my specific TV. They were too short and only drove into the TV halfway. The level made it easy and quick to make bracket straight and flush on wall. When I first ordered it I though it might be like an IKEA item- tons or parts a hard to assemble. But it wasn’t. I didn’t really need the written papers. I was super easy. I also used a 32” long 2x8 mounted into the studs on the wall before I put the tc mount onto the 2x8. This gave me enough space to install the cables. Behind the tv. Over all, an inexpensive way to mount a 52” Samsung that weighs like 80 pounds. Have fun. When I first ordered it I though it might be like an IKEA item- tons or parts a hard to assemble.
