I wash them with a soft sponge, low heat, and use a silicone spoon, I always add a little oil. I do not recommend them for frying with a lot of oil, I have tried it before, and they do not work. They have worked very well for me, and I continue to buy them.

Bottom of container was crushed pretty badly but light fixture seemed NOT to be damage!!
