By far the best Trem out there.
Electro Harmonix has been coming out with some great pedals, and this is one of the best. The 'definitive' Tremolo pedal, it does everything you could imagine, and then some, with a far greater feature set that other Trem pedals in the same price point. If you're looking for a simple Trem, it's extreme overkill, but if you're looking for a creative tool that you can use for Guitar, Keys, pretty much anything you can plug into it, and enjoy working with soundscapes, this is a highly recommended addition to your pedal collection Electro Harmonix has been coming out with some great pedals, and this is one of the best. The 'definitive' Tremolo pedal, it does everything you could imagine, and then some, with a far greater feature set that other Trem pedals in the same price point. Polyphase Shifter
Good phase control, Works well with my other pedals such as the O.D., Distortion, Flanger & chorus. Get a decent Trower vibe. I like to set it just enuff to hear the Phase have a balanced wobble set the volume to it. I placed it start of the pedal board after the wha pedal. Not noisey. I like it. A bit pricey, I thought. Find you Best setting and use it.

A lovely shift of phase
I have always had a special love for the phaseshifter effect. The first effect I ever purchased was an MXR Phase 90 back in 1981. That pedal is long gone and for years I have had a EH Small Stone. It is a great pedal that really captures the wooshy squish sound of 70s outlaw country. After checking out the Effectology series of effect demos on the EH website I decided It was time to get serious about my pedalboard. One pedal I decided to replace was my Small Stone with a Polyphase. I got it used for a buy now price of $120. I was expecting this pedal to be very over the top,gurgling and burbling and super squishy. Instead I found the Polyphase to be a very complex and subtle effect. It's sounds range from soft shimmers to little bubbly swells. I love this pedal because of the ... I have always had a special love for the phaseshifter effect. It does not produce the sonic mayham I was hoping for but what it does do is so wonderful the Polyphase will not leave my pedalboard.I ended up using the stereo outs of my EH Stereo Pulsar Into the Polyphase and the other out into the Small Stone than into the stereo inputs of a EH delux Memory Man than into 2 amps. The two phase shifters togather is lush beyond description.
