Product Information

Developer Omega Force's hack-and-slash battles take to the skies in Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce. New abilities allow player characters to fly through the air, entering into truly 3D combat, with attacks from above and below. While players still face throngs of enemies in a fast-paced combat flow, there are great advantages in good timing and positioning, promoting teamwork and effective tactics. Up to four gamers can join together over an internet connection for co-op play in a "Tactical Action" mode, to infiltrate enemy strongholds. The game features three main campaigns, one for each of the Three Kingdoms of legend in which the series is set. Including heroes from each of the kingdoms, more than 30 playable characters are available in all. Characters can be customized as they fight through their storylines, with orbs that can enhance a weapons power, and by collecting other items for special abilities. After filling a gauge by fighting enemies, Strikeforce player characters can undergo a Fury transformation to a supernaturally enlightened state, in which the game's most powerful abilities become available for a limited time.

    Unexpected

    Pros: The graphic is fantastic. You don't need to wait for a long time for the game to be loaded as well. This version has crafting system (I'd call it that way) which allows more various type of items rather than an old version which you only have to collect it from boxes in the quest. Cons: I have been playing Dynasty Warrior since Dynasty Warrior 3 or 4, but this version is unexpectedly boring. I started playing for 3 missions and knew that I couldn't play anymore of it in long sequence of time. Beside that, the fighting system doesn't seem to improve into a good way as well. Also, whenever a character moves, you will think of it as a robot movement. The camera job is badly designed as well, it makes me get headache after rolling the camera around trying to find the way.     different from previous titles

    I like the addition of additional characters, different settings of gameplay, but the previous versions were better. the gameplay is similar, ex: same characters that previous versions had, but different maps, ex: the new maps are all similar but are the same set up... you have a few zones, usually 4 or 5, you start at 1 of course, and go to 2,3,4 etc... on every map you have to move to the next zone, different from dynasty warriors previous to this. if you are a true fan of dynasty warriors then you will not mind the new changes... :]

    A must have for Dynasty Warriors fans

    If you are a fan of the Dynasty Warriors series, this is a must have. Much of it is the same as the old series, with the lack of annoying load times, much more complex and challenging officer battles, and an upgrade system that works very differently than any of the previous titles. The graphics do not have a huge upgrade from the older titles, but they are more detailed. Either way, DW fans know it's more about the action in the game than it is the visuals.
