    Great lens will outlive your DSLR

    PROs: 1. Lens is well made and feels sturdy in your hands. 2. The one touch zoom/focus control takes a bit of practice to come to grips, and you'll love it once mastered. 3. You'll find its macro mode very usable and a whole lotta fun. 4. Though "pasticky" in look, aperture ring is chrome; doesn't feel flimsy and works wonderfully. 5. Still an undiscovered gem and can be found at very reasonable rates. 6. Excellent image quality; good color rendition, quite contrasty. 7. Works natively with metering on "better" Nikons and on all my Canon DSLRs with adapters. CONs: 1. None really. Do your research and you'll be sold. There is one really great website dedicated to older Nikkor lenses, and one awesome overview on YT. Since I'm mostly a stills guy and have not experimented in video ...
