      The Roll Royce of electric skillets

      When I opened the package, one of the legs was broken, and had to be glued back together with a heat-proof adhesive. A lot of the bubble-wrap packaging was damaged, and no longer effective. The cardboard box looked like it had been kicked around quite a bit. After removing the feet and handles, I had to spray it with Easy-Off oven spray to clean and remove old grease and gunk. Once I had put it back together, after a few hours of soaking in Easy-Off, I was able to notice the scratches a previous user had made on the exterior lid and pan with abrasive pads. Totally unnecessary. Stainless steel, if handled properly, is almost non-stick, but without the toxicity of aluminum and chemical coatings. The pan is fine now (my second one), it heats up fast, cooks and sears to perfection with a ...
