Great product. Very universal. These indicator lamps have removable bulbs that can be removed from the outside of the unit. You can replace the bulb with a different one making these universal. You can use a bulb of a different voltage so if you need other than 6 volts you can replace the bulb. I replaced it with an 1847 because I wanted to run it at 24 volts. Of course a series resistor also works but I would rater use the 24 volt bulb to keep the current draw lower since im run multiple lamps.
