The Vita WAS updated to the latest firmware, I assume the seller tested everything including updating the software, before sending the unit out. I did run a diagnostic on the Vita and it did show powered on 4 times total with total battery time around 3 hours, which matches with the power cycles and update times. Overall I am pleased with my new mint Silver PS Vita 2000. Once shipped the Vita arrived next day

The New Silver PS Vita definitely hadn't been used so it was new, but my unit had a couple of minor scratches on the shell, which were likely caused during manufacturing. The screen has a yellowish tint and 3 dead pixels. I do not believe this to be the seller's fault. Likely the fault of the unit being so old and stored for so long. All-in-all great service and I would recommend this seller
