The item is completely genuine. It has all the velcro to hold it in place and the button to adjust the back with air. Thank-you so much. The cover on the old pads was peeling away. I now have a new chair. It would have cost as much to have the old pads re-upholstered.

    Great Deal & Super Comfortable

    I purchased this recliner for my husband who is a large man.. He loves it as he says the support is unbelievable, its almost bedlike. This chair just surrounds you in soft comfort and the large size is compact in a strange way in that it does not compromise the space it takes up. It blends right in with existing furniture.. Great Chair - The downside, my husband falls asleep in it almost nightly.. Love it.. Top Grain leather is soft and the construction is well put together.. smartest purchase I've made.. M. Farmer Atl

    Comfortable chair

    It is a beautiful chair. Very comfortable. But it has a strong odor which is annoying. I hope this goes away with time. Otherwise very nice chair. Would like to know what causes this odor.

    Don't waste your money on this CHINA made chair

    Very comfortable, but did not hold up. 2 years in and started falling apart. The worst part, the tanning of the leather did not hold up. Big sploches of the dye color came off where your head and hands sit. Barcalounger was a great brand then sold off to China after the 08' financial crisis
