    Meinl Zildjian

    I bought these because my K custom split along the middle of the top hi hat (which ALL k series cymbals eventually do, because Zildjian does not care about quality) and these bad boys sound incredible. They have more warmth, but still have a good "chick" that is very defined. Believe me, I used to be a diehard zildjian fan for life, until every series I bought cracked within about a year simply due to poor craftsmanship.. I don't play hard, I know how to hit cymbals properly, etc... I have played for 17 years, used Avedis Series, A Custom, K dark series, K custom, and Z custom Zildjian cymbals. Meinl's Byzance series I would hands down recommend over anything Zildjian, Sabian, or Paiste has to offer. Let me just say this... Meinl is becoming bigger and bigger in popularity for a reason!!!

    What Dreams Are Made Of

    I remember when I heard the drummer of the recently disbanded band Copeland broke up, the drummer had used these hi-hats on one of there records. I remember wanting these for four year but always saw these cymbals as unattainable. Now, I almost broke out in tears of joy when I got them after working so hard to get them, and now I have them and that's everything I saw in my head. I love them!
