Unfortunately, it is a bit finicky and tends to blow up if it is started and switched off at full mains voltage. After the 2nd board, I decided to use an autotransformer to feed the power side and have had no problems ever since. Considering its price it was an expensive lesson!

The quality looks good, and all the components were in the package. This was a more recent kit, and it looks like they improved on the design. Over all looks like a good project kit for the money. I contacted the seller about a few questions I had, and they immediately responded.
