    Good buy for me

    Bought on sale so good price. Had no duct problems as another writer experienced but instructions for using the adaptors were not there!! They threaded onto the duct...held adequately for me. Very easy to install. The window kit was better than I expected and for my window no mods needed. Would have preferred the cord to extend from the rear rather than the side. For a new owner of this type of machine the manual could be better on the unit itself, explanation of the remote is good!!! Shipping was prompt and included. Hopefully the unit stands up to use. A receipt with the unit would be good for warranty purposes. Seems reasonably well made.

    Portable Air Conditioner

    The unit was extremely well packed and arrived quickly. Set-up was a breeze! The window insert fit perfectly. It looks good and delivers wonderful, cool air. The remote control works well and is a nice touch. That's the good side. On the down side, it is extremely noisy. Although it says it has a 3-speed fan, and you can set the controls to 3 places, I can only detect two speeds; and volume levels "heavy industrial factory" and "god help us!" Totally unusable at night.

    Very good buy

    I used it during the first heatwave and am very pleased:not as noisy as other talked about, more expensive brands, fits in a small space, cools remarkably well (cooled my master bedroom in 20 minutes, seriously) I would have rated it 5 stars but I had some issues with the window kit : the air hose fits loosely in the opening and it took lots of duct tape to actually insulate it or the hot outside air would seep through.

    A great small ac unit

    Bought this unit for my mother. She loves it. It is very quiet! It puts out very evenly and cools our large living room easily! It was very easy to install and the price was fantastic! Absolutely no regrets on this purchase as am extremely satisfied with this air conditioner!
