  • Fantastic Book - A masterpeice of fantasy

    Terry Brooks is a master at writing fantasy. This is the 3rd book in the trilogy of books which started the Shannara series. The book is very climatic and this series continues to be one of my favorites of his now over 35 books. The series starts with Sword of Shannara, then Elfstones of Shannara, concludes with Wishsong of Shannara. 20 years ago I discovered these books in high school and found them to be much easier and enjoyable to read than the LOTR series. The characters are much more developed and you find yourself devouring the books to discover what happens next. The Wishsong is a particularly unusual book in that the introduction of the Wishsong (magical ability handed down by bloodline through use of other rouge magic)is a foundation Terry uses later in many books.
