Good shifter..but needs better detents.
The detent between neutral and reverse needs to be harder to over come. Just the weight of my hand sitting on the shifter handle while driving is enough to over come the spring and then it will go into reverse or even park. I am thinking of trying to find a harder spring to replace the weak stock one, that has to be pushed down for reverse and park.

B&m unimatic shifter
The shifter looks good and is of good quality. It comes with all parts necessary for the popular domestic us cars. It however has a loose feel to it . I would still recommend it.

great shifter !!!!
i put this in my 97 chevy 1500 with a 4l60e transmission. i was pretty easy to hook up and it works great. the nutural safety, swith back up light and gear selector all work off the tranny so there are no wires to hook up. it had some side play in the shifter so i took out the top spacer and took a very small amount off end so when i tighened it down it took the excessive play out. it looks good and works good don't be afraid of the negitive feed back. one thing thou it is not the best shifter for racing. but for a custom look it's the boss.

.Good all around shifter. Easy to install. Very universal. I installed it in a 1948 Ford F1 Truck with a Studebaker trans, It took a little modification to make it work. Works great.
