The aptly named Dr. Evil has trapped Grampa in a giant pumpkin and it is up to you to get him out. The game features a celebrity appearance: your grandfather is represented by the likeness of Al "Grampa" Lewis from The Munsters! <br><br>You begin the adventure on the grounds of a mysterious mansion. To complete your mission, you will have to overcome monsters ranging from pesky bats to dangerous boss mutants. Weapons and mystical items are available to aid you.<br><br>The area to be explored covers several horizontally scrolling screens. The game uses a slightly elevated third-person viewpoint to show your character and the surroundings. An alternate display screen may be toggled which allows you to get hints and control the items in your inventory.

A game that should be in anyone's collection who owns an Atari 7800
Midnight Mutants a game featuring Grampa Munster Al Lewis and super graphics zelda-like action. You play as Grampa's grandson Jimmy, and your main goal is to rescue Grampa from the Plasmic Prison by Dr. Evil. This game is not that easy to find nor is it cheap either. The controls are simple, the left button throws a weapon or uses a blood potion/health potion, the right button brings up the inventory and a brief talk from Grampa with helpful info on where to go next. The gameplay is incredible for a small wide cartridge, exploring the mansion, cabin, graveyard, anything horror to this game. There's actual boss fights "three of them" and they're quite challenging to be honest. You'll need a specific weapon to actually beat a mutant boss like an axe to fight Simon Yager the skeletal human ...
