    John Hiatt-Perfectly Good Guitar

    John Hiatt is one of the most overlooked in depth songwriter's/ singers of our time. His lyrics are saturated with raw and honest emotion. He takes you to his heart and brings you in leaving me to forget whose song it is. Lyrics like, "Baby when you hold me tight, you can hear heartbeats and screams", but sung in such a soulful manner I'm the one going, Please, Please Please !! John Hiatt has a C.D. called, "Slow Turning" Another Great and overlooked classic ahead of it's time. He is just one of the great lyricist's of our generation, which explains why the likes of Eric Clapton, Bonnie Raitt, B.B. King have gleaned music from his field of range and vision...

    One Of The Greats!!

    Every song is GREAT!! This is one of my favorite CDs of all time!! This is his BEST, but he has many other great albums as well. Soulful("When You Hold Me Tight" & "Old Habits") and passionate("Straight Outta Time") to down and dirty rock("Permanent Hurt", "Lovin' A Hurricane" & "Something Wild"), it has it all!! A+++

    A great all-around package!!

    A great quirky item that I had never seen before. CD with booklet in a case that is patterned after the boxes that house gear from one venue to the next. The guitar pick included was a nice throw in, and makes the whole package something for others to keep an eye out for. Highly recommended for the Hiatt fan who looks for something a little off the beaten path!
