Great Tone - Great Value
This set produces great tone even though it is a light gauge string. This lighter set allows me to maintain a consistent feel between my acoustic and electric guitars. More importantly, it allows me to play longer even though I have a wrist injury. Heavier strings limit my playing time. Typically, heavier strings produce better tone. This is not the case with these strings. Even though my Collings came with 12's from the factory, they specifically recommended the 11 gauge D'Addario EJ26 strings to maintain great tone.This set produces great tone even though it is a light gauge string. Both are of good quality they will get used.
I ordered phosfor bronze strings for the deeper tone but received bronze only. Both are good quality strings and i will use them but haven't yet. It was to much trouble to send them back. Not that big of a deal. Will use the in the future. Anyone can make a mistake.
