    Back-UPS Pro 700

This is a good UPS unit. I have only had it for a couple of weeks but it has performed flawlessly. It's easy to set up and comes with some software that allows for monitoring several UPS parameters/functions from a computer. These monitoring functions include performance, UPS status to name a few and it's all compatible with Windows 10. I believe the price I paid for this UPS was well worth it. I highly recommend considering one of these for your computer system/network.

  • NICE COMPACT UNIT, GREAT PERFORMANCE, IDEAL FOR HOME USE

Compact, well built, displays that status, and it works with a above average desktop. Have a Dell Inspiration T-7500 Server with dual core, 3 TB drives, 1 SS drive, high end graphics, 24GB memory, usually have a 1 TB USB drive plugged that I use, and it holds it sufficiently to power down until our generator ramps up. Rather small in size so sits under desk out of the way.

  • Quality product with generous features at a reasonable price.

I purchased the APC BR700G to supply and filter power to my home office computer, monitor, and printer. I researched the available products in this segment, and I found it to be the best option. APC has been making power products for decades, and I had looked at buying a Back-UPS in the past. With my latest desktop system being crucial for my home business, college courses, and general computing needs, I decided to finally purchase a unit. I have found the build quality, features, and design of the BR700G to thus far suit my needs very well. The unit has monitoring software and an LCD screen that make status readily available for monitoring. It looks nice, the battery is replaceable, and I am confident that it will be very helpful in the event of a power outage in my area.

  • Compact easy to change Battery-just wish On switch was more responsive.

Basic power protection of recording equipment hard drive. Compared to my older APC 500 the LED readout is a sold improvement. On/off switch is slow to respond. I leave the unit on except when I know a storm is coming or out of town. The 500 was on only when recording equipment was active. Acted like a master power switch which was useful. Not sure about transfer time but loss of power and surges are a risk in bad weather. Almost all recharge battery equipment is migrating toi LIthium Ion. but my run time in power outage is very short less than 1 minute so really not an issue.

  • APC makes a good, solid product.

APC continues to impress with a quality UPS at a fair price. The 450W version, Backup Pro 700, allows me to protect my 24 inch iMac with 250 watts to spare, or a 31 minutes warning to finish a thought before I need to shut it down. It gives me the peace of mind to continue working when the lights blink and go out for a few minutes during thunderstorms and high winds. The display shows the voltage being received as well as the cycles, and I was able to show the electrician from the power company that it fluctuated by some 6 volts, a problem he was able to fix at the transformer. Having it between a somewhat unreliable power source and my computer is comforting.
