  • great origin story for Tim Drake.

Feelings for Robin are very mixed. Either you hate him or don't. I love the little guy! I think he's the light to keep Batman grounded. I also enjoy Tim Drake as Robin. In this comic we learn how he earns the right to wear the R. We also get to see how bad Tim wants to be Robin. He's very serious about living up to the mantle. In a way he's also a miny version of bruce. The first part of the book Tim goes up against Scarecrow and saves Bats. While part two Tim goes to train and ends up teaming up with Lady Shiva. The two then join a x-Fed to fight White Snake.

  • LADY SHIVA AND THE KING SNAKE STEAL THE SHOW HERE! LOVED IT! LOVED IT! ...5 STARS WAY HIGH!

Issues 1-5 of the highly acclaimed 1990 Robin mini-series is the very best part of this book and should TOTALLY be turned into a live action or animated DC Comics movie! Chuck Dixon, the very talented writer, does a simply marvelous job of having Robin tangling with the dreaded international crime boss, The King Snake, chinese street gangs, and a long-forgotten WW2 global biological plague weapon! And, of course, Lady Shiva is just incredible here! LOVED her martial arts training scenes with Robin! Laughed out loud and stood up clapping after reading this wonderfully action-packed book! Read this book over 50 times! LOVED IT! Highly recommended!
