Building on the fast-paced, arcade-like play mechanics from the over-the-top original, The Bigs 2 adds new features designed to give fans more options on and off the diamond. A new season mode, complete with stat tracking, lets you guide your favorite MLB team through its complete 162-game schedule. You can also create a player from scratch in the "Be a Legend" mode and work your way from the Mexican league to the Majors. Throughout the story-driven campaign, you'll engage in boss battles with baseball's past and present stars for a shot at reaching Cooperstown.<br><br>One of the key diversions from 2007's game, Home Run Pinball, returns with three new venues, including the streets of Las Vegas and Tokyo, as well as the option to rack up points cooperatively with a friend. Other mini-games will test your running and throwing skills in addition to hitting for accuracy and power. While the core gameplay remains the same as in the original, The Bigs 2 offers some new wrinkles in the form of "legendary moves" and the "batter's wheelhouse." The former lets you activate special feats of agility, while the latter is a risk-reward system that has the pitcher trying to diminish a hitter's power in future at-bats by making him miss the ball over his favorite part of the plate.

The Bigs 2 - Wii
I recently won and received The Bigs 2 video game and I find it to be SOOO fun...it couples "real" regular (MLB2K_ action)video game baseball AND arcade at the same time..so when you make a good play the players will do flips to catch balls and pitchers are Very realistic, using each pitchers strength (i.e. Dice-K's Gyro, Rivera's Cutter)..Like I said above, this is an extremely fun game to play...especially on Wii, with Wii it let's you bat and throw pitches like your really throwing a pitch, amazingly crazy how realistic it looks, even on Wii (Wii's graphics are NOTHING compared to PS and XBox)....I HIGHLY recommend buying OR renting this game....you'll love it if your a baseball fan, it has realistic ball parks/uniforms/jerseys/players "skills"..I got it on here in a bid for less than ... The Bigs 2 Hits A GRAND SLAM By Including Classic Controller Support!!!!
I am a casual gamer who enjoys playing sports video games on the Wii. The Bigs 2 has become one of my favorite sports games because of the great control scheme used in the classic controller option. The classic controller gives you a few more options than a control scheme that uses the wiimote held horizontally because of the extra buttons. This is one of the few video baseball games 2K Sports produced where they give you the option of playing with the classic controller and they "Knocked it Out of The Park", The controls are Great; Not to simple, Not to Complex, Just Right! No swinging your arms with this control style, but of course, the option of the wiimote and nunchuck is available. (2K Sports dropped the classic controller option for the "MLB 2K10" game which was a bad mistake. The ... I am a casual gamer who enjoys playing sports video games on the Wii. The Bigs 2 for Wii Is Fun For All.
This is a great, entertaining baseball game for those who care expert gamers and also for the challenged gamer. It's easy to learn with minimal practice time. GRAPHICS Graphics are on par with the wii and leave nothing to be desired for what can be done on the system. GAMEPLAY Gameplay is simple and intuitive. Time doesn't need to be spent reading the manual for an hour on the technicalities of the game. In camparison to MLB series games, this has a much easier learning curve. The motion controls are fun and are used wisely. FUN This is the 1st baseball game that is as much fun to pitch as it is to bat. It's the best game when playing against other players. Faking out the AI with pitches isn't quite as rewarding nor fair (in my mind.) The arcade visuals and power-turbo modes are a lot ... This is a great, entertaining baseball game for those who care expert gamers and also for the challenged gamer. It's easy to learn with minimal practice time. Great Value ($5), Fun times, Awesome Purchase
Bought The Bigs 2 because my friend needed a baseball game, so we could play together. She had a Wii and we needed something fun but not too tedious. I've been looking at the game for a while and found this to be the perfect opportunity! Although the graphics are Wii-esque, the pitching and batting are simple and easy. I started playing the story mode and liked that they make you earn your stat points and other cool unlockables through numerous mini game challenges, game situations,and games. We both play MLB The Show(PS3) and I will be a lifetime fan, but I think this will be one to keep us entertained for times to come when playing on the Wii.Bought The Bigs 2 because my friend needed a baseball game, so we could play together. Pleasant Surprise!!!!
The Bigs 2 came with very little expectations seeing how MLB 2K10 was a Major League Bust. This game is very fun and somewhat realistic for an arcade game. The controls are easy and the extra home run boosts makes the game likeable. Highly recommended for baseball fans.
