The waistcoat is lovely, it has covered buttons just like the adult waistcoat we have. The waistcoat and tie set are very good quality. My son is a slim, very tall 8 year old, we did have to get him a bigger size 10 years, this is normal for my son he wears 9-10 years because of his height, the 10 fit him perfectly.
