Great unit for advanced Cisco-savvy environments, but WIRELESS DIES OFTEN
PLEASE READ UPDATE AT BOTTOM!!!: "Fantastic reliability" and excellent security, this is great for small branches and executive users who need secure access back to home base. Has an array of QOS features. This device is NOT for the home user, it ain't no Linksys garbage, this is REAL Cisco and it takes a Cisco engineer to program it, also the wireless radio is a completely separate module inside the unit, requiring the correct firmware and programming separately. Any Cisco guy will like this unit for all it can do, but if you only know how to program Netgear or Dlink, this is beyond you. UPDATE: After a few years, 8 or these units have lost their embedded wireless, the service module just fails. The router itself keeps ticking without issue. I have had to roll-out Ubiquiti Unifi at all ...
