    Good garage heater

    Heater was a scratch and dent unit but worked as new. Damage was cosmetic and easy to fix. Good installation instructions . I installed it myself but if you don't feel qualified get professional help. My shop is a bit more than 1000 square feet with a high ceiling. The building is insulated with R10 fiberglass and the heater managed to keep and hold 65 degrees F after running for about one hour. It was about 40 degrees outside. I had to convert it to use LP gas. The conversion was easy but a manometer is required to test the conversion. Again best left to the pros. All in all a great deal.

    Disapointed!!

    Northern Tool Co. where it was purchased through have been very helpful!!! I would recommend them and purchase from them again!! The heater seems to be poor quality. The first night after it was installed, I was a waken at 3:00 am by a very loud grinding noise in my garage. The blower fan blades had come detached from the hub and chewed itself up. They are only crimped on to the hub. They need to welded on. Very poor design!!

    Awesome Garage Heater

    MR. Heater 50,000 BTU, Will Heat 1200 Square Feet , It will heat a 2 to 3 car garage with ease ,This is a Awesome Garage Heater, It is very quiet and runs smoothly, the propane conversion was easy to install, The unit only weights 67 LBS and is very compact and only needs 1 inch of space from the ceiling, with that said if your a mechanically inclined person, Installation will be very easy, The exhaust has a purge fan so it can be vented horizontally or vertically and is only 3 inch vent pipe , gas is 1/2 pipe and electric is 110v . all standard supply's that can be purchased at your local hardware store. I would no doubt recommend purchasing the MR. Heater Garage Furnace , 5 stars and thumbs up . Thanks Much Rick.
