America is a wonderfully patriotic book for children.
First, this book is a very attractive book---with colorful and eye-catching illustrations. Second, this book is filled with "oodles and gobs" of information as there are many bits and pieces of information about American history. This is not a book whereby, in general, someone can sit down and remember all of the information within its pages in one sitting. This is a book whereby if one is to benefit most from the knowledge within its pages then one would need to read and re-read the stories again and again; if the goal of the reader is to learn information about America. It can be enjoyed as simple reading with some of the facts easy to remember, or the information in this book can be studied over time, as it has lots of facts about America.
