    Great monitor for Jamma / MAME / arcade applications

    This traditional 4:3 ratio VGA-input monitor is a perfect fit for stand-up or cocktail arcade applications. The strong LED backlighting and wide viewing angles provide an up-to-date experience at a fraction of the cost, space and power needs of older monitors. HPOS and pixel clock had to be adjusted quite a bit to work with the Jamma board that I used. Otherwise a great value, and no need to spend far more for a "gaming" monitor in this application.

    much better than wide screen monitors

    This is a great monitor. I'd been wanting to get rid of a wide screen and go back to a more traditional ratio monitor. This one is much better for surfing the internet, as you can see more of web page than you can on a wide screen monitor. Also, the same holds true when viewing word processing documents. The only reason wide screen monitors have gotten to be the standard is because of video, but I don't view all that many videos on my computer, I use it more as a computer than an entertainment box. I highly recommend this monitor.
