These are not Ruff Land compatable. I have original ruff land tie downs on another kennel and bought these for a second box. These look like they were purchased at a hardware store and packaged for sale. They can be screwed into the kennel but they are too short and do not lay over the side. I wont tie straps to them for fear that they will damage the kennel.

You are confusing tie downs with brackets. Two different things. Totally compatible. 100's sold without any complaints. If you want brackets, you have to buy brackets. You bought tie downs. See my feedback from tons of satisfied customers.
