When I received the CPU it was all covered with liqud metal that apparently spilled from under the heatspreader during shipping. I was going to delid it again anyway, so not a big issue, however for those who don't know what they are doing, be careful. LM is conductive and if not cleaned completely can cause a short and kill your CPU or MB.
