Movie was engaging if you watched the first one. Not quite up to the first one in quality of story,, but the acting was great. And funny. If the original was an 8 out of 10, this one was a 6.

it is p-poor follow-up to their first video. we stopped viewing it after a few minutes of foul and abusive language and hundreds of rounds of spent cartridges lying about with dead people, and for what reason(s)? the culprit or priest killer remains essentially out of the action. the top banana detective is not even a shadow of our previous "William D" character. we trashed this one.. the best part of this video was the brief exposure of Ireland. it is p-poor follow-up to their first video. we stopped viewing it after a few minutes of foul and abusive language and hundreds of rounds of spent cartridges lying about with dead people, and for what reason(s)? the culprit or priest killer remains essentially out of the action. the top banana detective is not even a shadow of our previous "William D" character. we trashed this one.. the best part of this video was the brief exposure of Ireland.

I LOVE both BOONDOCK SAINTS and BOONDOCK SAINTS II. Best movies of all time as far as I am concerned and I am a female movie buff. I hate vioence, but this was choreographed violence by somewhat innocent. There's a hint of the supernatural, and hey - the only thingn hotter to me than one good looking man is TWO!! Even if they aren't as good looking as the one male. LOLOL Everything the twins do is in tandem and it makes it wonderful to watch. Willem Defoe is awesome. I do hate that they killed off Billy Connelly's character in the end - or did they??? The soundtrack is magnificent - something for everyone. I've since bought a few Boondock items, and I never do that. Am looking for the steel package unedited first boondock saints. Already got the steel ... REMARKABLE!
It is not often sequels outdo their predecessors. this film does. Surprisingly, it does not rely on bigger explosions or unrealistic story lines, the film actually returns to it's low budget roots, making it feel for all intents and purpose, a logical, exact extension of part one. Were it not for ten years passage, one could easily assume both had been shot the same year. For those who criticized this film, I have no idea what you're smoking. this one rocks, period. Critics some times tend to get caught up on the word critic, and forget what it means to be a fan. Rock on. Can't wait for part three.It is not often sequels outdo their predecessors. this film does. I am sure this is a good movie. However I am still waiting for the first one to show up before I watch the second. I have gotten all but one of the movies I ordered, but unfortunately Boondock Saints I is yet to arrive.
