Some pairs are returned from retail stores, warehouses, and shoe shows. Some of the footwear is received in boxes and others are not. We are required by the manufacturer to remove the footwear from the manufacture's supplied box. We unpack, inspect, and buff the footwear. If any damaged pairs are found (DAMAGE DOES NOT REFER TO SLIGHT SCUFFS) we remove them from the lot. We are required to stamp the footwear, either on the sole or inside, to ensure no one attempts to return the footwear to the manufacturer for a refund. Some footwear has the strings or insert missing when we receive them. We replace them with the actual manufacturer's parts (COULD HAVE SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT STYLE).”
