The machine works, turns, but the feed only works going out, not coming back in. You have to manually pull the cable out of the pipe and feed it back into the machine. Very difficult to do. Spend more money and buy a better machine. Very low quality with this machine.

Well I used it right away my toilet hasn’t flushed without a plunger in years and I took the toilet off and used this drain snake and went 90 feet down with it then slowly backed it out and after that the toilet flushed great 1st time every time. It worked pretty good and did what I wanted it too so I would of gave it 5 stars if it had a storage case for all the end pieces so I won’t loose them or misplace them

Good value, effective machine.
In my opinion this drain cleaner is a good value, especially at this price point. I operated it today and it works as it should, without any issues beyond the normal ones that you deal with when operating drain cleaners of this type. The manual does a poor job of describing the assembly procedure. It only lists the handle installation, not mentioning the assembly of the wheels and axle or the accessory storage box for the cutting bits that come with the machine. If you're contemplating purchasing and using this machine, you likely have the skills and reasoning to work all of that out on your own though. The manual does a very good job of describing the correct operating and safety procedures for getting the best and safest use out of the machine. I cannot comment on the effectiveness or ... I installed a ClogChopper cutting bit on the cable and ran that down through my sewer line and it seemed to do a good job. There is one particular spot about 50 feet out from my house that gives me an issue occasionally, and the cable ran well past it with little difficulty. The total price for the unit and the ClogChopper cutting bits that I bought is still within the price range of one professional service call, and the equipment will be available for any future issues I may have. I'm quite happy with the purchase.

1st try it fed 6' of cable and stopped feeding, it was tangled inside drum. 2nd try it fed 13' of cable, wasn't tangled but wasn't feeding. 3rd try it fed 23' of cable and stopped feeding, it was again tangled inside the drum. Each time I had to take the Cable out, Untangle it, and then Rewind into the drum. I've only been able to get about halfway to the Roots in my sewer pipe, still need another 25' fed. Reverse on the Clutch doesn't work.
