    Social distancing walking entertainment.

The iPod Nano 5th gen added a lot new features to the previous generation including FM Radio with song ID, a video camera, speaker and inertial sensor (in later generations they were removed) while retaining the tactile feedback of the clickwheel (you don't need to see the screen to operate it). It uses the Silicon Labs 4703 FM chip and an ultra-efficient Samsung ARM processor for great economy in power consumption. As these are cheap on the used market, it's a great little device for walking around and listening to radio or podcasts during Covid-19. Apple quality durable connectors and user interface design. Simply speaking the iPod Nano 5th generation was the best designed, it had the most features, and represents the best value for money. Who wants a phone that won't play the ...

  • iPOD Nano 5th Generation

The Nano is a very impressive device in a small lightweight package with loads of features. I considered the Shuffle, but having the controls in the headphone line seems to be a detriment. The key items that justified the additional cost of Nano over the Shuffle were; better control pad, screen, video capability, built in speaker, and FM receiver - a lot of bang for the buck! The use of iTunes to transfer content between your computer and iPOD takes some practice. I wanted to download one photo and it took the entire director (30 some) pictures. Then I had problems deleting the unwanted pictures - end up creating a directory with only the photos that I wanted and re-syncing. iTunes also gives you a large volume of content that you can download to your iPOD. Because I'm very new to ...

  • Great MP3 Player, small issues

Its quite simple, this is an iPod, so it works like an iPod should, rather well. The fact that you can put it on its side to look at the album covers is cool like the Ipod touch can do, but the coolest thing, and the only real drawback of the item, is the cammera. The cammera shoots great video, the mic quality was pretty good, but not the best in the world, now what would be one huge issue on a cammera? IT DOES NOT TAKE PICTURES, why? Im assuming because the lens is not the correct type for pics? I dont know, but its still annoying. Other than that, the iPod is VERY light, to the point where I cant feel it in my pocket. It also has a radio, but you need the headset in order to use it, not to shabby apple.

  • I can't be without this apple product, this version.

This IPod is indispensable to me mostly because of the FM radio. Combined with the ability to play my favorite songs, watch a downloaded movie on the little screen and have a slides how of photos, this is the most convenient little entertainment device I have and just replaced after losing my previous one. I have the iPod touch and an iPad that have additional features, such as Internet, but to merely easily access favorites...and listen to the radio, this is what I like to have with me always. It is hard to complain about anything but I do have to remember to carry a charger as this little device cannot carry the charge of larger electronics. So I carry a cord in my car or purse. The radio tuner is installed rather than having to open the radio from a website so it is instantly ...
