      TERRIFIC PATCHES FOR POLYESTER FABRIC

      I needed to fix a tiny hole in a 100% polyester Nike ACG performance shirt. There's no way a typical patch would work. Because this Bondex product looked very light weight, I decided to give it a try. I cut two 5/8"x1/2" white patches and sandwiched the hole between them. I put the iron on the #4 (of 6) settings, "Blend" - one step hotter than "Polyester." The tip of the iron pressed on the patches for 5 seconds made a perfect bond without melting the shirt material. I flipped it over and did the same to the inside patch to make sure it was fully bonded and I cannot believe how great the patch looks. I don't yet know how it'll wash, but am confident it will last.
