Product Information

Mountain biking fans can get a taste of the great outdoors as they freeride down four expansive slopes in Mountain Bike Adrenaline. Pedal pushers can hop on popular bike brands like Lapierre, Kona, Cannondale, Qbikes, and Specialized, and navigate vast 3D reproductions of the Rocky Mountains, the Alps, the Grand Canyon, and Hawaii. Holding down the accelerate button will eventually tire out racers, so players need to be judicious or they'll get bonked early and won't have enough juice to pull off any sick stunts when they sky over extreme jumps. Players can choose from six riders, including American phenom Keith Hamilton, and a host of different bikes. There are four game modes from which to choose: Stopwatch mode, which focuses on speed; Challenge mode, which concentrates on specific feats; Arcade mode, which is all about pulling off tricks, and Freedom mode, which lets players ride each landscape unconstrained by time limits.

I use a shipping rate for Canada which is the same price no matter which game you buy. The Nintendo DS game that you bought happens to be extremely light.For 95%+ of the games, the shipping price makes sense.However, some games are heavier and some games are lighter than the average - so there is an aspect of fluctuation that I account for. But you're right about the total price, that's what matters, I also currently have "Best Offer" on - so you can always make an offer to get a better price.

    Fun but difficult for a 7 year old

    I bought this for my 7 year old boy. He loves the game but finds it a little difficult. He has not passed level one, but he still enjoys it. He plays with his friend and they actually thing it is funny to fall off the cliffs. I asked him to rate it, he said "excellent".

    Mountain Bike Adrenaline

    This was bought for a 13 year old boy who is always gamming. He told me that the game is difficult and the directions are hard to underatand. I got the same results from some older boys as well. I don't recommend this game for anyone under 18, if even then. It now sits in the case untouched.
