Echoes of '70s Era Road-trip Soul Searching
The pacing of this movie is a little slow. There were times when i almost gave up on it, and wanted to stop watching it, but didn't. I am glad i finished this movie because there is something so honest, and pure about the subject matter. What's great about this movie is it's not flashy like people think movies need to be. It is not over the top, not glamorous. This movie is striped to the bare essence of what it takes to make a good film or better, great acting, and a genuine story line. The movie has a slow start, but a rapid ending that leaves you wanting more. The characters are really well developed. I feel a close connection to all of them. I feel like they are real people, and that's unusual to feel when watching a movie. It's a movie about choices, ... The pacing of this movie is a little slow. Charlize Theron, Woody Harrelson, Dennis Hopper, Nick Stahl, AnnaSophia Robb, and Deborrah-Lee Furness star in a family drama detailing the efforts made by an 12-year-old girl to come to terms with her mother's abandonment. Tara's (Robb) mother, Joleen (Theron), just can't seem to get her life together. Her boyfriend has recently been arrested for growing marijuana, and rather than attempting to create a stable living environment for her daughter, Joleen instead places Tara in foster care before vanishing without a trace. Joleen's brother, James (Stahl), isn't exactly the picture of equilibrium, yet he does feel sympathetic toward his niece and obligated to help her though such difficult times. After breaking Tara out of foster care, James and his newly freed niece ... Charlize Theron, Woody Harrelson, Dennis Hopper, Nick Stahl, AnnaSophia Robb, and Deborrah-Lee Furness star in a family drama detailing the efforts made by an 12-year-old girl to come to terms with her mother's abandonment. William Maher, who served as visual effects supervisor for the 2005 Sundance film The Chumscrubber, makes his feature directorial debut with a film based on an original screenplay by that film's scribe, Zac Stanford.

Sleepwalking - A Must See
This story about the struggles of everyday life, love and sorrow will hit home with anyone who has had any type of adversity in their life. Nick Stahl (IN THE BEDROOM) gives a great performance as James and AnnaSophia Robb tops her performance in BRIDGE TO TERABITHIA in this wonderful movie. This movie had no budget and was shot in less than one month and to tell the truth the director did a wonderful job. Anyone who wants to have their heart warmed by a great movie will definitely want to buy this movie and include it in their collection. I try not to rate to many movies a 5 of 5 but this one deserves it.This story about the struggles of everyday life, love and sorrow will hit home with anyone who has had any type of adversity in their life.
