    Wonderful product with many uses

    Super good product. This holds up well under heavy use. I also use them as desk blotters on my productivity work desk and electronics workbench and they look good and protect the desktop - plus they make a slick mouse surface avoiding the need to use a separate mouse pad. I use the ruler markings all the time. Very handy. JR

    Does not heal

    I'm not sure what is meant "self-healing" but mine does not heal. I made one cut on this mat through paper using a razor blade and then watched it for over 2 weeks. The cut in the mat never healed at all. But it does make a good work surface so there is that.

    Great for the price but don't expect real self healing.

    For the price this mat is more than I could have expected. It's draw back is that is is not great in the "self-healing" regard. This is no surprise given the amazing price and speed of delivery. Consider it as a perfect mat for the light user or a disposable mat for the professional. Repeated cuts in the same location cause raised areas that can be corrected with 220 grit sand paper. For a real self-healing mat go with Alvin. Expensive but kick-ass.

    Outstanding quality and a great value.

    A very useful surface to cut paper and plastic sheets on. It helps protect the cutting blade and even makes cutting straight edges easier because the blade doesn't get 'diverted' by an uneven underlying cutting surface.
