Similar to the original Madagascar game, Escape 2 Africa plays out in a series of platform levels, featuring exploration, collection quests, and light combat. Players change characters to fit the challenge. Gloria can knock over enemies with her size, and she's also an excellent swimmer. Melman has special healing powers, and the ability to toss objects great distances. When there's a need for speed, Marty's the right zebra for the job, and Alex is a good choice for platform exploration, with his special ability to climb poles and vines. <br><br>New characters introduced in the sequel, such as King Julian and Moto Moto, offer their own special abilities and bonuses, and the penguins are back as well. Also like the original game, Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa features a selection of mini-games for single players or a whole family, including soccer, racing, rhythm-based dancing, and safari photography challenges. In a creative collaboration between DreamWorks and Activision, some locations have been expanded for feature in the game, including the Watering Hole, the African Savannah, the Volcano, and others.

I use a shipping rate for Canada which is the same price no matter which game you buy. The Nintendo DS game that you bought happens to be extremely light.For 95%+ of the games, the shipping price makes sense.However, some games are heavier and some games are lighter than the average - so there is an aspect of fluctuation that I account for. But you're right about the total price, that's what matters, I also currently have "Best Offer" on - so you can always make an offer to get a better price.

    Madagascar : Escape to Africa for Wii

    This game is great for kids over 6 years old. It can be very frustrating moving Alex throughout the game with the nunchuck. The game is entertaining in that levels do not last too long and you advance to a new/different goal on the next level which keeps you entertained. There are also mini games which are fun as well. Good family game.

    Madagascar Escape 2 Africa (Wii)

    This is a very cute game, It's rated E (everyone) and that is very accurate. The grapic are very good and the charaters are very funny this game would suit small children like 5 and up it does require some skill so might be a little hard for the 3 or 4 year old. Also this game lets them play again and again with out loseing lives so they can try again until successful. I would recommend this game to those with small children and up.

    great vaule for my money

    i bought it for my son..had some wear and tear.but compare buying it new..was awesome ...my son really enjoys playing it and the characters are great..But i say always EBAY instead regular prices at target,walmart,gamestop....espically game stop..i was actually looking into there and ebay..ebay was cheaper at gamestop was more expensive....but the shipping ang handling here ...sometimes is expensive..

    easy for a 5 year old

    This has a few different games a child can play. My 5 year old grandson needed a little help at first but then quickly caught on to master the remote and get the characters to jump and run. It was fairly easy. We had to help him because he can not read yet.

    Totally fun&funny too Perfect young kids,you always win! Beware seller igot

    Love the game till we got to some kind of scratch or ? it's called. And the seller said "it worked fine when it left here !" So we only got to the 4th or so area. We also like the mini games,alot of fun. Overall really fun & funny game. we just need to purchase another to finish it now. But i will go to a store instead.
