I had already purchased a month’s cellular plan for the watch and was going to use it for my trip that week out of the country.     You can't beat the quality of David Clark.

    I've been using David Clark headsets for more than 40 years, the 10-30 and the 10-40. They no longer make the 10-40 although there are some still in stock with dealers. The 10-40 had the electret microphone and the 10-30 the M1DC amplified dynamic. Both are great but the 10-30 withstood being breathed on in very cold aircraft better than the 10-40. David Clark now makes the 10-30 with the newer electret microphone, so now it looks just like a 10-40 so if it has the larger M1DC mic. you'll know it's older. All of them are great headsets. I've used the various clones and most of them work fine but don't have the mechanical ruggedness of the real thing. If you don't want to spend $300 on a new one buy a good used David Clark rather than a clone for the same money. If you're going to fly a ...

    The David Clark H10-13.4 is one of the best aviation headsets available. It is lightweight and has a great noise canceling feature. If you are a student pilot or planning to be one, invest in this headset. It will serve you for a long time beyond your student days.

    Great product!

    We already know from other pilots that this is a good product. I don’t know how long the previous owner had it or how much he used it, but my son says it works just as well as he’d hoped! He said the sound quality is good & likes that he can adjust the volume.
