About this product

Product Information

Combat Elite: WWII Paratroopers is a World War II combat game following the career of a young soldier named Private Patrick Harper. The action takes place from a third-person perspective as players, along with Allied forces, make their way through Normandy during the D-day Invasion (June 1944), participate in Operation: Market Garden (September 1944), and stave off advancing Germans in the Battle of the Bulge (December 1944). The ultimate goal is to mount an assault on Hitler's Eagle's Nest headquarters in Germany to help bring an end to the war. The included campaigns can also be experienced with different Allied forces, as players assume the identity of a member of the 101st Screaming Eagles, the 82nd Airborne, or the British Red Devils. The developers have focused their attention on delivering as much authenticity as possible to the game, with historically accurate uniforms, weapons, vehicles, and locales.

Great experience with this seller. Items were as described and packaged very well. Extremely pleased with my purchase. Reasonably priced and totally worth the cost. I especially appreciated the speedy shipping from Canada to my door in Kentucky. Derek is a Super Seller in my opinion.

Item was as described/listed, packaged securely, and arrived in great condition. The price wasnt bad at all, either! This game was a childhood favourite of mine growing up. Cartridge works as intended, and have been playing it non-stop since it arrived this morning! I loved the inclusion of random trading cards with my cart, too. Really neat little touch! Thanks so much, Royal Retro!

  • Pure fun

While the graphics and game play look dated, it is a top down game. It is just pure fun. Your basic mission is to KILL THE ENEMY. No complicated missions. You have the ability to upgrade your character, increase rank and receive medals. It is also a single screen coop game. Don't see many of those now adays. Game controls are very simple and takes little time to master. Several types of weapons to choose from. Simple to switch and grenades have their own button. Health packs litter the game. You can actually do a "Charge of the Light Brigade" style attack and shoot & use health packs at the same time. With a very good chance of coming out of the attack alive. Well worth the money I spent.
