  • They don't make em like they used to.

The first season was great, nearly every one of the episodes were written well and a few could even be considered great. (Bigelows last smoke) (Trick or Treat) (it all comes out in the wash),,,just to name a few. Very few of them were corny and stupid. Well corny and stupid is what this second season is. They are badly written, predictably pointless, and just not scary at all. The episode "The Devils Advocate" written by George Romero himself is arguably the best one and it barely gets a 6 out of 10. I was extremely disappointed in this. I couldn't help but thinking that like too many things in life..as the 90's got closer "They don't make em like they used to"

  • What side are you on ?

Excellent and real educational to. The actors and actresses are terrific. These stories can really hold your attention. This television program deserve high fives from beginning to end!

  • Another Successful Season Of Tales from The Darkside

I loved this show, and I still like to watch it around the fall and winter times of the year. I find it creepier then, this season isn't as good as the 1st but it is still up there.

  • Childhood memories Pt.2

This particular season has three of my favorite episodes. "Halloween Candy" directed by legendary special effects, stuntman, and actor Tom Savini. "Monsters in my room" starring a real young Seth Green as a child sufferings the torments of monsters in his room and his drunken stepfather. "The Devil's Advocate" written by Romero himself and starring the fantastic Jerry Stiller a a DJ Talk guru giving up on the human condition to discover that things are far worse. These three episodes are stunning examples on why you should discover the awesome storytelling that DARKSIDE has in store for it's viewers.

  • "SPOOKY WOOKY...80'S STYLE"

I'VE READ SOME REVIEWS THAT GAVE THESE FOLKS SOME GRIEF OVER THE MUSIC THAT I GUESS IS NOT THE ORIGINAL MUSIC THAT WAS USED IN THE BACKGROUND. THE OPENING AND THE ENDING IS STILL THE SAME, BUT I HAVE TO SAY I NEVER GAVE MUCH THOUGHT TO THE BACKGROUND DURING THE SHOW, EVEN BACK THEN. MY KIDS ARE SO USE TO WHAT TELEVISION HAS TO OFFER "THESE DAYS", IN THE WAY OF GORE, THAT THEY WERE A LITTLE HESITANT TO WATCH IT (MY KIDS ARE TEENAGERS...DON'T WANT ANYBODY TO THINK I'M FORCING 2 YEAR OLDS TO WATCH SCARY STUFF) SO I REMINDED THEM THAT THIS WAS 80'S TELEVISION AND THIS WAS NOTHING LIKE WHAT IS ON TODAY. THE SHOW SUPERNATURAL WOULD BE AN EASY "R" BACK THEN....MY, HOW TIMES HAVE CHANGED.
