About this product

Product Information

Developed by veteran studio Avalanche Software, 25 to Life is designed to place the online tactical action of a squad-based shooter in open urban settings that are reminiscent of the latter-day Grand Theft Auto games. Through two parallel perspectives on the same ongoing conflict, 25 to Life offers play as either a law enforcement officer or a streetwise gangsta. In either case, players are equipped with the tools of their respective trades; cops can make use of their superior training with firearms or call for helicopter air support, while gang members can choose from a wider selection of weapons and use civilian hostages as human shields.

The game was built with online play in mind, and several multiplayer modes are supported. Players can customize their characters with tattoos, brand-name apparel, and other accessories, then take them online to join others for team deathmatch-style competition. A full-fledged single-player campaign is also included, casting players in the role of an urban up-and-comer who finds trouble on both sides of the thin blue line. The plot of the single-player game was written by P. Frank Williams, known for his successes as an author, magazine editor, and television producer. The game's soundtrack features selections by rap artists Mos Def, DMX, Ghostface Killah, and others.

Wish it would've shipped in a bubble envelope instead of a paper one, but it arrived as described at a very low price, so I can't really complain. A+ Seller. Cheers!

Top Ebayer! A++++++ Exactly as described, nicely packaged, good price and arrived quickly. (if you see 3 items with similar reviews of mine for this seller, that's because I ordered 3 things on the same day from this seller and they were all excellent!) Thanks!!

  • Awesome multiplayer (before it died)

Its sad to see this game die off... Amazing multiplayer/online. I spent countless hours in my youth playing this.. Story mode is ridiculously short but it was only to unloxk online items more-less.. Great game, but not worth buying unless u play online.. Or unless u want that good ol nostalgic feeling from playing it in the past... Honestly though this game is EASILY in my top 5 favorite games ever made... Ashame they didnt make more... Seriously....

  • fun game

this game was surprisingly fun. i had the difficulty on easy and it was still challanging enough for me. the last bonus level is fun. even though this game took me about 8 hours to beat, its perfect enough time because some games go way too long and i get bored with them. but if you like to play long hard hours into a game this wont take you long. but its still very fun, i recommend.

  • Fun game to replay from time to time.

Classic for me. Take a chance at both worlds, to bad the bad one is always more fun lol. But all jokes aside a fun game to play and the story line keeps you entertained threw the game play. Plenty to do along with the missions, hours of game play, but not for the kiddies out there. Parents you know your kids best to decide.

  • 25 to life review

Game is OK...could be a lot better....kinda a cheap game. Characters need to be larger and easier game control...it's not accurate the shooting style. I wouldn't rent this game even if it was free. Waste of time and more frustrating than fun to play.
