Sorry it took so long I've been out of town. The package is in good shape, what don't like is it kept saying arriving on time and the day it's supposed to be here it ends on the otherside of Wisconsin. It then takes another six days to get to my home. But thats the USPS not getting it to where it's supposed to be, plus there tracking has alot to be desired. And let's not forget EBAY nagging me to provide feedback back on packages I haven't received yet. It happened twice in the last two week

The end of an era....
This coaling station fits in perfectly with the end of the steam era. Not to complex, yet not so simple it strips away the intent of the object. Most of the heavy duty and complex coaling stations by now on the prototype have been torn down except for the few remaining, and those are the simplest things to do the job right. This unit represents that era, and it fits perfectly well. 50's - to the end of steam. One thing you need to figure out is this - there needs to be a track running thru those legs of the unit to dump coal into the pit for the elevator on the other side to pick up and put into the coal house. Once you complete this the unit is perfect for any late steam era railroading. Now add a decent water tower along side this and you have a steam refueling station.This coaling station fits in perfectly with the end of the steam era.
