It's a great value! There are many products that allow you to connect an internal hard drive to a computer, but this device is my preferred method. This device is very inexpensive and allows me to power a hard drive and connect it to a PC with eSATA cable, which is the fastest interface for data transfer for SATA HDDs.

The Transformer that's in it wasnt powerful enough to power up my 3.5 HDD but this is not the Sellers Fault, its just cheap Chinese Junk. had to use a Powerful External Power Supply from my PC to power up then connect the USB SATA Connectors to my computer. Fast Shipping...

The power adapter was a nice addition. I've tried a similar device before that fell apart and didn't work so I was glad that this one did. I had 3 old IDE 3.5" PC hard drives and a 2.5" laptop drive from the WINDOWS 95-XP era and i wanted to check them to make sure I didn't have any old data and then reformat them before recycling. worked with 3 out of 4 and the other had issues anyway.
