The positives: Very competitive prices and fast shipping. Seller gave me a partial refund. If you are looking for reading copies, no problem. But (and very big but) there was a large remainder mark at the top of the text block. which was neither visible in the pictures nor mentioned in the description. As the seller himself mentioned, remainder marks are "acceptable" among some sellers, even when the book is listed as new, but for a collector that is not good enough. Should have been mentioned.

    Trail of 42 (Book)

    I am 71 years old and during the second world war my father went to Canada to work on the building of the Alcan Highway. He told me stories about working in the cold weather and the mud while building the highway. Although my dad has been gone for 20 years, reading the book brought back memories of his stories of actually being there and working on the highway.
