The "Scott 2009 United States Pocket Stamp Catalog" provides an easy to carry reference book with up to date market prices as well as nice colored pictures of stamps. These are the main purposes for this book. However, the "up to date" value listing and pictures are over shadowed by other just as important reasons for purchasing the catalog such as listed below. 1. The layout of the stamp pictures on the pages with respect to the location of the items pictured and their values is not an asset to this catalog. 2. Many souvenir sheets and overprinted stamps are not pictured. 3. One must also keep turning pages back and forth to reference the design of the stamp and the values of them. 4. In some cases the pictures are too small to see important identification indicators. For these reasons, ... The "Scott 2009 United States Pocket Stamp Catalog" provides an easy to carry reference book with up to date market prices as well as nice colored pictures of stamps.
