About this product

Product Information

This modern retelling of George Bernard Shaw's PYGMALION features Rachael Leigh Cook and Freddie Prinze Jr. as high-school students on two sides of the clique divide. Prinze stars as a high-school stud who makes a bet with a friend that he can transform the hopelessly geeky Cook into a prom queen. It turns out the transformation is even more successful than he could have imagined--before he knows it, he's fallen in love with her himself. SHE’S ALL THAT features Matthew Lillard, Anna Paquin, Paul Walker, and Kevin Pollak, as well as acting appearances for music artists Usher and Lil’ Kim.

Wish it would've shipped in a bubble envelope instead of a paper one, but it arrived as described at a very low price, so I can't really complain. A+ Seller. Cheers!

    DVD

This DVD arrived in tact and in excellent condition. If you have never seen this movie it is worth taking the time to view. There are some very cute and comical situations along with a bit of sadness and of course a dash of teenage mischief. Possibly a small life lesson also. Recommend

    OK movie

This movie was OK for a one time viewing. It shows how easily young people can be seriously hurt by their peers and how some people are able to change for the better. The female lead was sort of cute but seriously mono-tone through out the entire movie. The male lead had the same facial expression through the whole movie. These actors need much more coaching. Good for a one time viewing. There were a few spots that I viewed more than once for personal reasons. The bad movie personalities in the story portrayed people who should be relocated to a different part of the Earth.

  • A favorite flashback movie for me *sigh*

Here I go exposing my age, but this came out as I was graduating high school and I remember loving this movie. It's cute, and what girl doesn't dream of the hottest guy suddenly falling for her?? I hadn't seen this movie in a few years, when I finally purchased it, and it was a pleasant trip down memory lane. There are a few times when it seems like the writers weren't paying attention to their work and Freddie has a tendency to look constipated when he's trying to be emotional. Other than that, it's a cute chick-flick and worth buying. Perhaps my favorite line in the movie is, "I feel like Julia Roberts in 'Pretty Woman'...without that whole hooker thing." The bonus materials are nothing to get excited about, just a few movie recommendations and the "Kiss Me" music video.

  • She's All That - Not for PreTeens!

I watched this with a group of 11 year old girls thinking it would be a cute pre-teen movie - OOPS! While conceptually it's a nice, wholesome high school love story with moral overtones (acceptance) with a GREAT dance sequence at the high school prom, the foul language is repeated many times and I found myself apologizing to the girls for every 3 and 4 letter word uttered. Additionally the pubic hair scene was NOT acceptable for preteens or young teens and created a uncomfortable situation in explaining exactly what was going on. So, while teens would enjoy the gross scenes and most likely overlook the bad language, it is not suitable for pre-teens.

  • Entertaining

I bought this movie as I wanted to see a young Paul Walker as I enjoy him in the "Fast and Furious" movies. But watching this movie made me miss him more, even though he was a bit of a "bad guy" in this movie as he manipulated the main female character with his charm. This movie was entertaining and you do not have to be a teen to enjoy the story. It has interesting characters I cared about.
