    I have been a fan of the London Symphony Orchestra since I first realized what it was at the age of 17 with the release of STAR WARS. Since, my favorite music among almost all types is the 100+ piece symphony orchestra, but there ARE differences between, say, the Chicago Symphony & the London Symphony. The arrangements on this album are intelligent, true to the spirit of the pieces, and perfectly conducted. Perhaps not for everyone, but certainly for me. I first purchased this album around 1990 and, chump that I can be, lent it to someone and it was never returned. As it was out of print, I had more or less given up hope on obtaining it again until I searched eBay for it. The price was more than reasonable, I would have happily paid more, and I jumped at the chance to get it. I shall now ...
