    Awesome Wifi mesh extenders

    These are very easy to set up and cover all the dead spots in my house including the basement. I installed one in the garage and it takes care of the external wireless cameras and garage dare openers.

    so so

    I Have an existing orbi wifi pod system but use a Comcast gig modem. I figured just get the pods to make everything integrate. While the pods are nice since they also have a built in Ethernet for extending cabling over wireless, the overall performance is subpar. Get 10 to 80 meg throughput occasionally peaking at 120 maybe. There is no way to lick ssid to A band only. It is all controlled automatically by the brain Comcast modem. My orbi system I can get almost 300 on wireless consistently.

    Improved our Internet coverage

    Have only installed one Pod so far, and it's working well. We weren't able to have the Xfinity gateway installed in a central location so the Internet was spotty in the back. The pod has solved that problem. Glad to have more pods in case one is needed for a currently empty bedroom.

    xFI is ok mesh, super pod and XB7 is better

    Added coverage in multi floor home. XB7 is better from Comcast, but for those that cannot rent, this works. Must set up xFi Mesh to use. And helps with devices that need ethernet RJ45 connection in remote location or devices that don't like mesh.
