The MOther of all Diecutting Machines
I dragged my feet in purchasing this Gemini Die-cutting and Embossing Machine since I already own a Big Shot and a Cuttlebug. Now I wonder why I waited so long! This machine cuts like butter and doesn't require any assistance from me but to line up the "sandwich" and put it through! I have shoulder problems and sometimes I would have to crank intricate dies through my manual machines many times before I would get a clean cut. Talk about sore arms! This machine is heavy as many others have said, but, once I found a place to keep it, that problem is moot. Perhaps I should have gotten the Gemini Jr., but with the deal I got I couldn't resist the original Gemini. Are you procrastinating about getting a Gemini. Don't! It's wonderful, especially when doing a lot of cutting. It cuts better with one pass than both of my manual machines with 2 or 3 passes. I really like the fact that I can put a whole sheet of 8 1/2 by 11 inch paper through without having to trim it. I can create multiple cards so much faster. My shoulder and hand thank me every time I use it, too! Lol
