Beautiful but not durable.
This is a beautiful HO scale car. The details are very fine. The wheel lock wings are even color coded for left and right side tires. The performance of this Slot car is excellent. Very fast, maybe too fast. The car handles the track well but the high speed capability make for frequent de-slot events, even for an experienced driver. This brings me to the vehicle's durability. The body details, although superb, make for a fragile body and accidents lead to damage. the weakest point of the car is its rear wing. Beautiful car, definitely. Good luck keeping it on the track. The magnets are either too weak or too high in the chassis, or both. It drives like a T Jet. The other two GT40's I got are the same. Disappointed with AFX on this one.
