    It's a battery

    Battery works well for my modem TG862R. When I first put it in the modem there was no indicator lights. I checked the next day, and it was solid green, indicating fully charged. I have not checked to see how long it lasts when power goes out.

    Great value.

    Fits xfinity modems. Xfinity will charge $160 for the battery, so this is a good deal if it works. Arris makes the modem and the battery says Arris on it, so it seems like a legitimate battery. Note that the backup battery only works for the telephone. It will not keep the internet and wifi going in a power outage. It is not the fault of the battery; it is the design of the modem/router.

    Fit Modem/Router and works

    After going round and round with my Cable Internet provider sending me the correct backup battery. I purchased this battery for half the cost of what they charged me for the wrong battery. I would Highly recommend that anyone who has a modem/router that this battery fits, To purchase one. Remember most cable systems have their own backup power on their equipment. So, having a backup battery on your modem/router will ensure you can stay connected via wi-fi smart phones and laptops/notebooks/tablets during a power outage.
